Prices
Stein USA LLC reserves the right to alter prices or alter product specifications without notice. All prices are shown in US Dollars ($) excluding State Tax

Payment
All approved credit accounts will receive 20-day payment terms from the Invoice date. All credit accounts which are settled using a credit card will be charged a 4% handling fee. Bank fees incurred for wire transfer from originating bank will be the responsibility of the customer. We reserve the right to charge a 1.5% interest charge per month for any overdue account. Special Orders or non-stocked items require payment in advance and are non-returnable.

State Sales Tax
Tax-exempt customers must email us a copy of their tax exemption certificate prior to any orders being invoiced, once on file this will be reflected in your account status. Any product supplied into the State of Maine will be charged accordingly with the State Sales Tax unless otherwise exempt.

Shipping
All orders weighing up to 100lbs will be shipped and charged using UPS Ground unless otherwise stated. Larger shipments will be sent via LTL and quoted / charged accordingly. If you are arranging your own transport a specific collection date & time must be agreed with us prior to collection. Delivery time on orders will vary subject to your State and will range from 1 to 7 days. We do not ship any items International. No responsibility is held by Stein USA LLC for orders delayed due to strikes, riots, fires or other occurrences beyond our control.

Damaged or Lost Items
Any item which visibly appears damaged must be signed for as damaged on the carrier's freight bill or receipt. You must obtain a copy and keep the original carton, all packing materials and parts intact. We must be informed by email within 10 days after receiving a damaged shipment, or as soon as you determine that a shipment is either lost or damaged. Any damaged item not signed for as damaged will not be accepted as damaged after the event.

Returns
If you are not satisfied with any product you have purchased from us, please contact us to arrange a return within 30 days of your purchase. All return requests must be made by email with a copy of your purchase receipt and the reason you are returning the item. All return costs are the responsibility of the returning party. Only the original cost of the invoiced product will be refunded, the original shipping charge will not be refunded. Re-Sellers: a 20% re-stocking charge will be applied to all returned items.

Back Orders
On some occasions some of our products will be out of stock or may have to be specially ordered. If we have placed items on backorder we will email you and inform you of this and inform you to the best of our knowledge when the item will be back in stock. Unless otherwise cancelled by email all backordered items with be shipped and charged accordingly. Any item placed on backorder will not be invoiced and money taken from a credit card unless the item ordered is a special request item.

Order Cancellation
In the event that you need to cancel an order placed with us online please email your purchase details to info@stein-usa.com. If we are unable to cancel your order due to it already been shipped you can return it using the returns procedure above.

Product Warranty
Stein USA LLC warrants that, under normal use, our products are free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of one year from date of shipment. During the warranty period, Stein USA LLC will, at our discretion and at no extra cost, repair or replace defective products or parts, or refund the purchase price. This Limited Warranty extends only to products that are purchased either directly from Stein USA LLC or from an authorized reseller. Furthermore, the Limited Warranty extends only to products which are used for their intended purpose. This Limited Warranty does not extend to any product which has been misused, or that has been damaged from accident or mistreatment, from the use of parts not supplied by Stein USA LLC, or from modification or servicing of the product by anyone other than Stein USA LLC or its authorized resellers. In no event shall Stein USA LLC be liable for any indirect, special or consequential damages in connection with this product. Stein USA LLC assumes no responsibility or liability whatsoever for any products which are altered or modified in any fashion, or which are used in a manner for which they were not originally intended

Product Warning
Activities using Arborist equipment are inherently dangerous. It is not possible to cover every eventuality relating to the use of this equipment. Purchasers and users should seek professional training from a fully qualified and competent instructor prior to engaging in any activity. If you are not able, or not in a position to assume this responsibility, do not use these products. The manufacturer its distributors and resellers do not accept any liability if users do not follow product instructions correctly. Only the techniques shown in the product instructions are authorised.  Any other use deviating from those shown may result in serious injury or death.

CE marking
CE is a declaration by the manufacturer that the product/s meets all the appropriate provisions of the relevant legislation implementing certain European Directives. The initials "CE" do not stand for any specific words but are a declaration by the manufacturer that their product/s meets the requirements of the applicable European Directive(s). Various multinational committees meet to produce and update standards relating the safety, marking, design etc of products within their fields. These standards are implemented at national, European or international level and some are ultimately adopted by the member state governments to specify the requirements of the Directives. When a standard has been referenced by the European Commission (by publication in the Official Journal of the EU), it can be adopted by a member state as a yardstick to use for product compliance. In this situation a product which complies with the approved standards for a given Directive can be presumed to comply with the essential requirements of the Directive. Although many products are manufactured and tested under CE and Certified accordingly these standards may vary from the ANSI Standard. We will place a foot note on each product which is CE Approved and by accepting our terms and conditions you agree that you understand and accept the European Standard and are fully aware that this may differ from the ANSI Standard if applicable.

Internet User Security
Stein USA LLC will never pass credit card information to any third party. All credit card details are deleted once payment has been received and authorised. We will never wilfully disclose any individual’s information to any third party without first obtaining permission. All information collected by Stein USA LLC is used solely for the purpose of conducting further business with Stein USA LLC.
